Detectable serum Hep C virus RNA
Age > 18
Liver biopsy ( fibrosis & chronic hepatitis)
Compensated liver failure( albumin > 3.4, INR < 1.5, no ascites)
No contraindications ( current alcohol or drug use, uncontrolled major depression)
Treatment:
Peginterferon + Ribavarin
HCV genotype 1 add protease inhibitor( telaprevir or boceprevir)
