Autosomal recessive disorder of bilirubin metabolism

Features:

Severe jaundice: 20-25 mg/dL can be more

kernicterus

No change in serum albumin after IV phenobarbital 

Treatment:

Phototherapy or plasmapheresis 

Cure: liver transplant
