Metatarsus adductus
Congenital foot deformity; seen frequently in first born( due to molding from the primigravid uterus).
Associated with hip dysplasia( acetabular)
Type 1: Feet corrected into abduction. No treatment required.
Type 2: Feet in neutral position.
Orthosis and corrective shoes
Type 3: Feet does not correct.
Serial casts.
Deformity persists till 4 yrs- surgery.
