Common in military personnel and athletes
Second metatarsus most commonly involved
Symptoms:
Foot pain insidious in onset occurs during activity, later present even during rest.
Rx:
2,3,4th metatarsal fracture managed conservatively with rest and pain management.
5th metatarsus: surgery
